Bluebell, A Luxury English Shepherd Hut

Camp Buttercup is a small private land holding of 10 acres in Southeast Michigan with a private family lodge-style log home and two authentic English shepherd huts. We are surrounded by woodlands and wetlands rich with wildlife. Our gardens, each with its own unique micro climate, provide surprises every day. We share Daisy Lake, a small spring-fed lake, with one neighbor who we can't see. It's a serene, quiet and private setting, and easy to relax into the tranquility of nature in this sophisticated, safe and clean environment. It's a natural setting for our English shepherd huts.

Bluebell, our 18 foot by 7-1/2 foot English shepherd hut (135 SF), is furnished with original fine art, a full-size Tuft & Needle mattress, oak flooring, custom wet bar with hand sculpted English Shaw clay sink, a British Perrin & Rowe polished chrome faucet, a spacious under-counter refrigerator, en-suite wash room including shower with well-engineered plumbing fixtures, and lots of storage. We even designed a little countertop space-for-two to enjoy breakfast, tea or wine and cheese indoors. We've selected the finest English fabrics from Lee Jofa and custom furnishings, making this beautiful little hut exquisite inside and out.

We're two miles west of downtown Dexter where there is plenty to do... outdoor or river fun, adventure, theatre, restaurants, festivals and shopping. It's a cute little town to see.

Enjoy glamping and commune with nature without giving up the comforts of a sophisticated, safe and clean place to lodge. Experience the mysterious qualities of the humble shepherd hut as it releases you from the noise, clutter and excess of modern-day living while rejuvenating your senses in a lovely and charming setting.

Slowly wake up to sandhill cranes calling and red-winged blackbirds trilling. Hummingbirds, rabbits, butterflies, deer, turtles, and other wildlife are frequent visitors!
